Manada
Manada is a technology marketplace that connects people who want to rent vehicles with people or businesses offering vehicles for rental. Manada provides the technology and marketplace infrastructure for users to discover vehicles, communicate, make reservations, process payments, and manage rental-related activities. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Manada does not own, operate, maintain, or directly provide the vehicles listed by independent vehicle owners or providers. To use Manada, you must: provide accurate and complete information, meet the minimum age and legal requirements, have the legal capacity to enter into an agreement, provide valid identification when requested, and use the Platform only for lawful purposes.
Users are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and keeping their login credentials secure. Users must not create fraudulent accounts, impersonate another person, provide false documentation, use another person's account without authorization, or attempt to bypass verification or security systems. Depending on the service, Manada may require: full name, phone number, government-issued identification, driver's license, photographs or selfie verification, and other information reasonably necessary to verify eligibility.
Users who list vehicles on Manada are responsible for providing accurate information. Vehicle listings may include make and model, year, photos, availability, location, price, and other relevant rental information. Photos and descriptions must accurately represent the vehicle. Manada may review, approve, reject, suspend, or remove a listing when necessary. A vehicle listed on Manada must comply with applicable laws and regulations. The person listing a vehicle represents that they have the legal authority to offer that vehicle for rental and is responsible for maintaining the vehicle in safe condition.
A reservation is confirmed only when the Platform indicates successful confirmation. Manada may cancel or restrict a reservation due to fraud, safety concerns, payment problems, inaccurate information, or other legitimate circumstances. Depending on the reservation and enabled payment options, users may be offered: a reservation payment of 20% plus the applicable 3% service fee; or full payment of the reservation. Available payment methods may include Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Digital Wallets, PayPal, or other supported providers.
Unless otherwise stated: free cancellation is available within 24 hours of booking. After the 24-hour period, the reservation payment is non-refundable. Eligible earnings may be paid through a bank account, PayPal, or another supported payout method. For reservations requiring a payout, Manada may use the confirmed start of the rental service as the point at which eligible earnings become available. Manada's commission is 20% of the reservation. A separate 3% service fee applies to the customer as displayed before payment.
The person renting a vehicle agrees to: use the vehicle responsibly, comply with applicable laws, hold a valid driver's license when required, follow the rental conditions, return the vehicle as required, and report accidents or damage promptly. A vehicle may not be used for illegal activities. Users may be responsible for damage, loss, traffic violations, tolls, parking charges, cleaning costs, or other costs resulting from their use of a vehicle. Users may not use Manada to commit fraud, provide false information, circumvent payment requirements, misuse personal information, conduct illegal activities, or compromise Platform security.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Manada is not responsible for the independent actions, omissions, conduct, or representations of users or vehicle providers. Manada does not guarantee the availability, quality, legality, safety, or condition of every vehicle listed on the Platform. Manada collects and processes personal information as described in the Manada Privacy Policy. Manada may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance. These Terms shall be governed by the applicable laws of the Dominican Republic.
